Freesia

Very popular in wedding bouquets in the west, freesias are are among the most popular fragrant flowers. They symbolise innocence and are “zygomorphic” which just means that they grow along one side of the stem, in a single plane. Typically white and yellow, the flowers come in a great variety of other colours - white, golden yellow, orange, red, pink, mauve, lavender, purple and bicolours. Freesia perfume has a light, sweet, floral and citrus aroma and is used in premium soaps and lotions.
